Biography
Born in 1958, July 14, Yerevan.
In 1987 he graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory as an oboe-player, and in 1990 – the post-graduate courses of the same Conservatory.
In 1985 he became a laureate at the Transcaucausian Competition.
He has worked at the symphonic orchestra of the Radio and Television of Armenia, as well as at the Tagharan Ancient Music Ensemble and at the Armenian State Orchestra of the Wind Instruments.
Activity
He has worked with the state musical band of Television and Radio of the Republic of Armenia, as well as with the “Tagharan” ancient musical group and Armenia’s state blowing instruments musical band.
Since 1999 he is the Principal Adminsitrator of the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre named after Al. Spendiaryan.
In 2014 assumed simultaneously the position of the head of the stage.
Tours
He has toured Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Austria, France, Yugoslavie, Romania, Lebanon, Syria etc.
Award
1985 prize-winner of Transcaucasian competition.
